4TH CHARITY VOYAGE

New Image held its "4th Charity Voyage" fundraiser in celebration of 26 years of services to homeless and low-income populations. New Image held its 4th Charity Voyage fundraiser Saturday, April 18, 2015, aboard 'The Majestic', one of the Pacific Avalon Charters' Luxury Yachts. This year's fundraiser was held in celebration of the successful completion of 26 years in the provision of emergency and transitional housing placement, comprehensive case management, and supportive services to more than 2.6 million homeless and low-income individuals and families with children, throughout Los Angeles City/County.

The evening kicked-off by welcoming U.S. Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Long Beach Legend Doris Topsy-Elvord, Actress Jen Lilley (Days of our Lives), Actress Isis McKenzie (Guardian of the Realm, The Metrosexual and The Silencer & the Sky), Visual Artist David Brannon, Corporate Sponsors, and over 300 supporters, while a harpist played in the background. The black-tie 5-hour event cruised the San Pedro Harbor, and guests enjoyed a pre-reception featuring a one-hour hosted bar with hand-served hors d'oevres, followed by a five course meal with complimentary wine, a short ceremony acknowledging its supporters and sponsors, and assorted entertainment on every deck. Guests were encouraged to participate in the Silent Auction that featured Vacation Getaways with hotel stays in Los Angeles and surrounding cities, a painting donated by Visual Artist David Brannon, and autographed basketballs by Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers) and Blake Griffin (L.A. Clippers). The evening culminated with a raffle featuring a grand prize of a 3-night Cruise to Ensenada, and various restaurants and shopping gift cards.

All proceeds from the event benefited New Image programs that provide services to homeless and low-income individuals and families with children.
