In Loving Memory of Carolyn Stanley

August 17, 1963 - May 25, 2020

Carolyn Lazette Stanley was born in Mindon, Louisiana, on August 17, 1963, to her proud parents Gracie Lee Stanley and Willie D. Stanley who preceded her in death. She was united with Mona Church of Christ at an early age. Growing up in Los Angeles, California, she attended and graduated from Centennial High School.

Carolyn was always smiling. She was everyone's sweetheart. She enjoyed shopping, crossword puzzles, spending time with family and she was ALWAYS the life of the party! She would never miss a moment to dance and was known to all as the "Dance Hall Queen."

Carolyn was the third child born of her three siblings, two older brothers Raymond and Willie Stanley; one younger sister Barbara Stanley, who was also her very best friend, partner and "Road Dawg." You would never see one without the other. The two were the true definition of sisterly love!

Carolyn was called home to be with the Lord, Monday, May 25th at 10:21 pm. She leaves to cherish her memories her 3 siblings: Raymond, Willie, and Barbara, 6 nieces: Lakishea, Shaquira, Williesha, Jeanesha, Tavia (all Stanley's), and Erica Duplessis; 8 great-nieces and nephews: Davon, Desiree, Kyrie, Trinity, Dylan, Joda, Jallen, and Haiden; as well as a host of other relatives, and friends.
