In Loving Memory of Isaiah Dunmore

July 5, 1951 - May 5, 2020

Isaiah "Zeke" Dunmore was born July 5, 1951, to the late Willie Dunmore and Versia Crosby Dunmore in Pickens, Arkansas. He transitioned into eternity on May 5, 2020, at California Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Isaiah was a graduate of Reed High School, class of 1969 in Dumas, Arkansas. He relocated to Los Angeles, California, in the 70's were he worked for Hamburger Hamlet and went on to work over 25 years for A.N. Abell Auction. He also was a member of the Southern Missionary Baptist Church, where he received Jesus Christ on August 7, 2005, by Rev. Dr. Joel Gates, Pastor.

Isaiah went on to marry Debra Jones Dunmore of Los Angeles, California, in August of 2001. Isaiah loved to play his daily three numbers and scratchers. You would often see him sitting on his favorite bus stop checking his tickets.

Isaiah was a nice and generous person, talking to his family either on the phone or in-person is what gave him the most pleasure. He always had a listening ear and ready to share his life experiences and wisdom. He had a saying, "away to God" and loved when you call him "Mr. Wonderful."

He is survived by his daughter, Robbie Cross, two granddaughters: Kira and Zoe; three sons: Keith, Marcus and Isaiah Jr.; three brothers: Willie Dunmore Jr., Curtis Dunmore, and Charles Dunmore of Dumas, Arkansas; two sisters: Celia Dunmore of California, and Vivian (Thomas) Fisher of Dumas, Arkansas. He also leaves a hose of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Versia Dunmore, his don Freddie Dunmore, his brothers Tommie, Marshall, and Edward Dunmore, his sisters Jackie James, Elizabeth Dunmore, and Ella Kiper.
