Gwendolyn C. Jackson was born on May 27, 1953 to Thomas and James Etta Jackson in Temple, Texas. She was the third of four children. She attended Gompers Jr. High and graduated from Centinnial High School. Gwen went to furhter her education and gained eployment with Cornell Correction as a case manager, where she worked until she became totally diable.
Mount Moriah Baptist Church was her church home where she so dearly loved her church family. Gwen loved the Lord not just with praise from her mouth but she loved the Lord so deeply from her heart.
Gwen was such a loving person she never forgot a birthday or anniversary. When Christmas came regardless of her status at the time she made sure all kids had presents.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and older sister Myrtis Jackson, also her only child Eric A. Riley. She leaves to cherish memories a brother and sister and a host of nieces and nephews.
