August 29, 1944 - July 8, 2018

Willie Ellis Gordon was born August 29, 1944, in West Helena, Arkansas to Jack Gordon and Ruth Reese. Willie was the 1st of 3 children. Willie received his education at Eliza Miller and the Job Corp.

Willie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in West Helena, Arkansas. Willie attended Church under the leadership of Pastor Mark.

Willie worked for McDonald Douglas for 20 years in the Custodial Department.

Willie enjoyed watching TV and old Cowboy and Western movies. Willie was a lovable, kind and friendly person. He was a humble man who was very giving and willing to be helpful to others.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Reese, and Jack Gordon, grandmother, Ida Gordon and a nephew, Coen Reese.

Willie leaves behind to cherish his memories, a daughter, Catrell Michell, a son-in-law, Michale Guss, siblings: Lula Mae Gordon and James Reese Jr., nieces, Kimberly and Cesha, nephews: Cagen, Adam, and Michale; great-niece and nephew, Cacoa and Alexis, a special person, Aisha Moore and a host of friends.
